12inch gravel packed screen strainers
Base Pipe:
-Seamless Casing as per ASTM A-312, Diameter 12" (325mm), TP 316L, 36 lb/ft,
Wall thickness 8.94 mm, Perforated with 16 mm. dia of hole, minimum open area 16%
- STC thread according to API 5B, with pin and box protectors
- Over all length 5.8 meter including pin and box protectors
Jacket:
- Slot opening 0.025" (0.635 mm.)
- Profile wire size 2.45 mm. x 2.50 mm, Support rod Dia. 3.0 mm
- Effective screen length 4, 870 (+/- 20 mm.)
Gravel packed strainer are used for oil and water exploiting.
Characteristics:
Gravel packed strainer consists of two screens or multilayer screens
Perforated pipe inside , with perforations wrapped by the outside Johnson type screen
The screen jacket and base pipe are welded together with a length of coupling.
The base pipe can be made of seamless pipe or welded pipe, and more often, casing pipes.
