Resource:
Our brown aluminium oxide is mainly made from bauxite, coke (anthracite). Most chemical composition are Al2O3, TiO2, with little SiO2 and Fe2O3
Peculiarity:
Brown aluminium oxide has a higher toughness than SiC, the microhardness is 1800 to 2200 kg/mm2, Moh''s hardness is 9. Volume density is above 3.85g/cm3. Brown aluminium can bear high temperature about 1800℃.
Function:
Abrasive tools made in brown aluminium oxide can rub hard metals, such as steel, malleable cast iron, hard bronze and so on. It can also be used to make refractory matter.
