The ZD ceramic filter
The ceramic filter is a new generation of efficient energy - saving solid-liquid separation machinery. It's basic principle is similar to ordinary disc vacuum filter, the key
difference is that it adopts the porous ceramic plate to do the filter media (pore size 0.1-5um). Due to the role of capillary forces in the filtering process, only the water
can go through the filter plate, but the air. And thus it has the excellent performance of energy-efficient.
The ZD ceramic filter has characteristics of unique design, compact structure, advanced indicators, and excellent performance, which has significant economic benefits,
social benefits, and can be widely used in industries like non-ferrous metal mining, coal, metallurgy, chemical , medicine, sewage treatment and other industries.
1.the features of ZD ceramic machine:
1. The fully automatic ZD ceramic filter is widely used in solid-liquid separation of minerals, metallurgical and mineral processing industry.
2. Because of the role of the pores of the porous ceramic, it results in almost absolute vacuum (vacuum work up 0.96kgf/cm2), and very dry cake.
3. The filtrate is clear like crystal , free of solid particles, which can be reused or discharged.
4.Compared with the traditional filtering methods, it has high energy efficiency, power-saving more than 90%.
5. Avoid the trouble of no cloth and replacement of the filter cloth

9. The unique filter disc is composed by numbers of pieces of ceramic filter plate, only the liquid through the filter plate while vacuuming. Due to the tension in the
pores aquifer is greater than the pumping force of the vacuum pump, the microporous can continue pumping the filtrate strongly. The microporous of ceramic filter plate does not
allow air to pass, a small vacuum pump can maintain the vacuum requirements of the ceramic filter plate, which has very low power consumption.
10. Through the chemical water and ultrasonic cleaning, the filter plate can be renewable automatically , returning to full permeability.
2. The working principle of ZD ceramic machine
The structure of ZD ceramic filter includes: the rotor which is equipped with a number of ceramic filter plate disc, the distribution head resulting in auto-switching
phenomenon of aspiration and the role of flushing , stirrer and cake scraper preventing precipitation of solids, the cleaning system within the filter plate abdominal cavity
outside wash and ultrasonic vibration and the PLC control system maintaining the tank of a certain slurry level in and running the program.
(1)the cake-forming region: When the ceramic filter is operating, the ceramic filter runs to the slurry surface in the tank, due to the vacuum effect, solid particles
accumulation layer is formed on the filter plate surface. Through a ceramic filter plate, the liquid switches the distribution of the first to the vacuum barrel.
(2)cake drying zone: When the filter plates absorbing piled layer leaves the slurry surface to be cake, the cake will continue to dehydrate and dry under vacuum.
(3)the filter cake stripped discharge area: Through the spindle rotation , the rotor brings dried cake to the discharge area, discharging under the action of the scraper
device, and then directly entering to fine sand pool or transporting to the desired place through a belt .
(4) backwash areas: After discharging, ceramic plate enter the backwash area, then use the filtrate of ceramic filter or external water, distributing valve enters the
ceramic cavity by the pressure adjustment in backwash pipe. Cleaning the micropores of the ceramic plate from inside to outside, and washing down the remnants left on the
ceramic plate surface to achieve the purpose of cleaning ceramic filter.
(5)Joint cleaning: After a certain time of work, due to be blocked, the filtering effect of the micropores of the ceramic plate is decreased. To ensure smooth and high
filtration efficiency of the ceramic plate microporous, we should start joint cleaning by the interaction of ultrasonic cleaning and chemical cleaning to recover the original
state of the ceramic plate. Through joint cleaning, the micropores of the ceramic plate will be further clear to ensure the high efficiency of the subsequent filtering.
3. The scope of application of ZD ceramic machine
The ZD ceramic machine is applied to the fine tailings dehydrating of gold, silver, copper, iron, tin, aluminum, lead, molybdenum, chromium, sulfur, phosphorus, coal, silica,
quartz, mica and rare earth, and dehydration of chemical industry, zinc oxide, aluminum oxide, zinc sulfide electrolytic residue, leach residue, slag and treatment of sewage
, sludge and waste acid.
