Description
Common name: Esbiothrin, Es-bioallethrin
IUPAC name: (RS)-3-allyl-2-methyl-4-oxocyclopent-2-enyl (1R, 3R)-2, 2-dimethyl-3-(2-methylprop-1-enyl) cyclopropanecarboxylate
Other names: Esbiothrin; EBT
CAS RN: [84030-86-4]
EEC no.: 209-542-4
Mode of action: As a Pyrethroid, Esbiothrin acts by contact or by ingestion and is not a systemic insecticide. Esbiothrin reaches the nerve-endings of insects and causes the interruption of communication with the brain. After a period of excitation and convulsions, insects are paralyzed (Knock-Down) and then they die. The addition of Piperonyl Buotoxide (or S2) reduces the recovery ability of insects, and consequently improves the efficacy of Bioallethirn.
Uses: Esbiothrin is a pyrethroid insecticide with a broad spectrum, acting by contact and ingestion characterized by its strong knockdown effect. It is effective against most
flying and crawling insects, in particular mosquitoes, flies, cockroaches, etc. Esbiothrin is widely used for the manufacture of insecticide mats, coils and liquid emanators. It is also widely used in solutions designed for aerosols, and in the formulation of liquid insecticides. The addition of Piperonly Butoxide (or S2) a synergist greatly improves the efficacy of Esbiothrin in terms of killing propertie(as) s, while significantly reducing the cost price of the formulation.
We are supplying Esbiothrin 93% TC.
