Lithium Alginate is a kind of white to light yellow powder, almostodorless, tasteless and dissolved in water into a viscous colloidal solution. LithiumAlginate is insoluble in alcohol solution in which the alcohol content islarger than 30% (wt). It is insoluble in chloroform, ether and acid with a pHvalue lower than 3.
