Description
Powdered coke (coke): coke coal isolated by pressure air plus high temperature carbonization out
Mainly used in blast furnace ironmaking coke for blast furnace smelting of non-ferrous metals such as copper, lead, zinc, titanium, antimony, mercury, from the reducing agent, heating agent and the materials column skeleton role. The blast furnace usingcoke instead of charcoal, which laid the foundation for modern large-scale blast furnace. In order to achieve better technical and economic indicators of the blast furnace operation, smelting coke (metallurgical coke) must have the appropriatechemical and physical properties, including the hot properties in the smelting process.Coke used extensively for iron and non-ferrous metal smelting (metallurgical coke), also used for casting, chemical, calcium carbide and ferroalloy quality requirementsdiffer. Such as foundry coke, general requirements for a large size, low porosity, high fixed carbon and sulfur content is low; chemical gasification coke strength requirements lax, but requires good response, high ash melting point; carbide production coke requirements maximize the fixed carbon content.
