1. According to the number of deck, the cage includes the types of single deck, double deck and multi-deck cage.
2. According to the tramcar type, the cage can be divided into four categories: 0.5T, 1T, 1.5T and 3T.

Application
Cage is usually used for lifting staff, ore, device and materials in auxiliary shaft. It can also be used in main mine of small and medium mine. Cage is one of the most important equipments for lifting coal.
Working principle
The principle of the cage is similar with the elevator.
