Introduction:

P and N synergistic flame retardant is white powder with high temperature resistance and non-migration. It is mainly applied to nylon 6 and PA66 (glass fiber reinforced and unreinforced) series engineering plastics and TPE (TPEE, TPU and PEBA).

Application:

a. 8006 especially can be applied to high glass fiber content reinforced nylon system (PA6, PA66 etc). Flame retardant treated polyamide mixture show excellent electrical and physical properties.

In PA6 or PA66 added with glass fiber, the additive amount of 8006 is 15-20%(weight), enough to make materials reach UL94 V-0 grade(1.6-0.8mm in thickness). The additive amount of flame retardant will change according to polymer grade, processing condition and increasing of glass fiber.

b. 8006 has better thermostability, better adaption to processing technology and equipment, and the flame retardant performance is efficient and very stable.

c. 8006 also can be small amount compounded with efficient halogen-free flame retardant (synergist) agent, to further improve comprehensive mechanical and electric properties, and satisfy some increasingly demanding terminal application requirements of plastic modification industry.
