Description
Introduction
Darbond® Silicone LED Encapsulant 9022 is a high refractive index, non-corrosive, environmental friendly, two-part addition-cured composition, which are designed to meet the challenging demands of LED applications, including high adhesion, high purity, thermal stability and optical transmittance. It is of medium viscosity, thus shows good flowability and wettability. The cured composition is of low shrinkage, excellent weather/impact resistance, and high adhesion to a variety of substrates.
Typical Applications
To seal and protect LED from environmental contaminants, absorb stresses caused by shock and vibration, and maintain mechanical and electronic characteristics in a wide range of temperature, humidity and harsh environmental conditions.

Directions for Use
1. Rinse the surface to get rid of oil, water, dust, etc. Using solvent such as solvent oil and butanone;
2. Mix Part A and Part B in a weight ratio of 3: 1, and degas in vacuum.
3. Dispense the silicone composition and clear extra silicone with solvent oil or butanone.
Recommended cure condition: 1h@120+4h @150;
Notice
The presence of potential inhibitors/ poisons of PT-catalyzed addition-cure silicone composition should be avoided: Organotins, silicone rubber containing organotin compounds; Sulfur-containing compounds such as sulfur, polysulfur, polysulfone; Nitrogen-containing compounds such as amines, polyurathanes; Phosphorus-containing compounds; Unsaturated hydrocarbons plasticizers; Flux residue.
Moisture-sensitive: Contact with moisture may influence the clarity of the composition. Be stored under dry nitrogen. Once opened, use as soon as possible, or store under dry nitrogen.
